Capitol Hill:

Capitol Hill hotels are scarce for some reason.

DOWNTOWN:

If you would like to be downtown Seattle, The Alexsis, The Sheraton, The Red Lion, The Mayflower, The Executive Hotel Pacific, Hotel Monaco and The W are all great & gorgeous. Lodging: How To Research

You can research the listings on expedia.com.

Search for hotels only, then for a specific address.
If you enter: 1400 E Prospect, Seattle, WA 98112 for the address of the reception site, you can search the hotels to your heart's content. Expedia has some discounts that the hotels may not if you call them directly. You may also enter our address 233 33rd Ave East, Seattle, WA 98112 to find a slightly different selection.

The U-District is across the north part of Lake Union, northeast of downtown Seattle and north a few miles of the reception. Seattle is a small big city, so most spots are close.

To research Bed & Breakfast style hotels:

The best for locations are (I am checking availability):

Cap. Hill Guest House (many rooms avail, checking to see if I can hold rooms)
The Gaslight (one room, #107 for one person, maybe two. This place is amazing! I drive by all the time! I will try to hold it...)
The Admiral B & B
The Chambered Nautilus (one room currently available 28th - 30th)
